Research interests

 

Teaching Interests

  • I worked on the implementation of computer and network-based resources in the teaching of science courses for science majors.
  • The following is a presentation I gave on instructional development. It illustrates the type of work my colleagues and I are doing in teaching general science to non-science majors. It is entitled:- Teaching Science to the 21st Century Student. 
  •  
  • My colleagues and I wrote the following paper about what we have done in the implementation of computer and network based technologies for education. It is entitled: The Use of Information Technologies in the Teaching of 'Science for the 21st Century'; it appeared in Int. J. Modern Physics C (v.8, p.49). Other Interests

I am an advisor to the  United Eco-action Fund . The United Eco-action Fund "spearheads a new movement to unify environmental and humanitarian organizations for urgent international action across the globe." 
I enjoy road biking. I am on the Board of Directors (and was past-president) of the Onondaga Cycling Club. I started to race (cat 5 USCF). See also my Hobbypage.
